Hmm, where I used to live, there's a mennonite store. Unfortunately, the last time I was there, I bought some bulk citric acid that was so old that it was bitter instead of sour. :/

Hmm. There aren't any near me with nutritional yeast. :/ However, apparantly, it's basically just dead yeast with vitamins mixed in. I'm not quite as thrilled about it as I was five minutes ago, lol.

Don't forget a good selection of vegetable seeds ( open pollinated) varieties.

I was able to get 100 lbs of red and white wheat last march ( 2009) when a group from church went to Bishops store house in Dallas.. I have it in 6 gallon buckets with gama lids coded with white or red lids..
I finally saved up enough to get a grinder a little while back.. Now I have to learn how to use it and start learning to use the wheat ground.. Have been makeing bread now for a year but using the store bought pre ground wheat..

I bought a hand grinder last year and it's a joke.. am hoping this electric one works better..
Placed a group order last week with our chuch's relief society and ordered powdered sour cream, butter milk , butter, powdered eggs, cocoa. we ordered from walton feed. They had a ton of stuff but I could only order a .
Have been working on can goods (
soups, meats, vegetables etc)

we also have a garden.. I need to learn how to can.. drats mom never taught me that.. At 52 I need to find someone to teach me..

Oh don't tell me that a hand grinder is a joke cause I bought a Victoria. I haven't used it yet but I saw one set up in a healthfood store and it seemed easy enough.

Perhaps its good to work those carbs off by grinding:lol:

Thank you every one.. The hand grinder was a 69.00 one it will work good to grind for hot cereal in the morning. but awful for bread.. I made two loaves of bread with what we ground from it and they came out like bricks. LOL..
Monday hopefully I'll be able to get the electric one down and out of the box and try and learn to start using it.. I was told when I grind the wheat to keep it in fridge or freezer after its ground cause it looses food value after its ground.

Learning to can will come in a few months when garden starts producing.. I'll really be bugging ya'll then..
