What's going on?!? I (having skipped McDonald's for YEARS) went there 3 times in the last 2 weeks! Yikes! Once was just a cheap ice cream trip with nieces, nephews and my kids, but still...

No more McD's for another decade! :fl

Please!!! NEVER say "Popeyes" in front of me!!!! I'm a southern girl at heart, spicy fried chicken is my weakness!
Back when I was just a young pup, I worked at a fried chicken joint called "Chicken On The Run" in Arabi, Louisiana. The owner would make spicy fried chicken on request. After a while he noticed that he would have a line waiting for the spicy chicken, while the regular chicken sat. Eventually he closed shop, and a short time later he re-opened under the Popeye's name. And the rest, they say, is history...

I love fast food french fries and some of the other food on offer, but the Double Down sounds disgusting to me. However, I am glad you enjoyed your sandwich. Your penance was...?

I've liked you from the start, now I know why! (Well, I like everyone lol!)
A) I watch every episode of Intervention, every re run too.
B) I'm a southern girl at heart too!! Lived there for a couple months, but grew up in a Hollywoodesque style Cali town :(
:gig Ok get this, I was born to vegetarian parents :)he why me?!)who cruely moved me (and sisters etc.) to small town south TX when I was young. I grew up craving all that southern spicy fried chicken that all my friend's mamas cooked, but I hardly ever got it...unless I got invited over.

I think this fueled my addiction (and I won't let my parents forget it :p ) to spicy fried chicken (and other gloppy southern dishes)...and my obsession with "Intervention".

I loved to watch Intervention with a biggy glass of wine too. :p I think then, hey I'm not so bad after all.

For the remainder of the week, salad for lunch and a small baked potato in stead of fries for supper last night.

I believe that my extra two roosters are starting to get nervous though, as I have recently re-named them Original and Extra Crispy. :D
