Why should the biological father be tapped? They were not married. She didn't want to get married. He donated the sperm at her request and it's not like he even got to have sex with her for it. He had no idea she was going to use it to have so many children.

She made these decisions on her own. She should have to pay for them.

Well she said yesterday that she got the money from an inheritance. Hmmm....More than $30,000 that she inherited.....seems to me that this wouldn't allow her to collect welfare.

At least it should!

It kind of depends on how that inheritance is set up. If it is in a trust, then the trust pays her and is the actual entity with the money and not her.

This means that she has no assets, because the trust has the assets. With no assets she'd still qualify for help, in most states, if memory serves.

Social services counts inheritances, and I do believe that thirty thousand would preclude her from a check. I think this lady has been talking rings around herself and it could get her in real trouble one day.

Just another bizarre twist to this story, I suppose. I hadn't heard it... she has an inheritance and lives with mommy and daddy while having a bajillion and eleventy kids? Hmmm.... and right, how on earth is she getting welfare if the inheritance story is true?

And if true, why wouldn't she use that money to help the kids she already had? I smell inconsistencies *all* over the place here.

I agree with Frankie. He donated his sperm, and that's the end of his legal obligation.

I would agree with that if he had remained an anonymous donor. Unfortunately, Octomom has contact with him on a fairly regular basis. apparently, meaning he is available.

So? It's not his fault that she turned into a raving lunatic. If he has to foot the bill he should get joint custody.

Hell, he should get full custody. She is unfit.
