And oberve/critiqueyour sleeping position.--maybe you are in need of a new pillow? I often get this pain, and it is b/c of my sleep position. Massage def. helps
I agree with WZ....you need a massage therapist for this one. Or a chiropractor.
But you need a GOOD massage therapist, one who understands the relationship of the muscles in the front of the neck and chest to pain in the back of the body. Not a fluff-and-buff type of massage therapist.
If you can go this route, PM me (not e-mail right now, as I am still on the old computer and it takes more time for e-mail to come up than this forum) and I'll help you find one.
Now.....did you do anything that you are aware of that brought this on? Do you need a vacation, say to Texas? Did you do something big like dig holes or wash windows or slip and fall? Or almost fall and catch yourself with your right arm....or your left? Are you right or left handed?
Aww, you guys are so sweet! I just woke up Iike this the other day. It doesn't heIp that I'm a wee bit stressed and I've been painting, gardening and doing yard work Iike a fooI.
The massage therapist isn't an option right now b/c I'm on a strict budget for a whiIe.
I was hoping there were some simpIe stretches I couId do, or maybe get one of these moose here to waIk on my back. Hot bath, hmm I'm so daft I didn't even think of that.
My best friend is a chiropractor...unfortunateIy, she is back in TX. :/
I finaIIy feeI a bit better this morning, so I must be on the mend.
psst... try one of the seattle massage schools - you could be a test model (with a student could be iffy) or an instructor could use you as a 'how to'... you might also get lucky with Bastyr college
