I'm going to be thinking about that all day now, the two of you sneaking up on a giant preggo goat and scaring the kids right outta her...

It might be working! Ok, all she did was poop and squat for a 1/4 cup of pee.....but I let her out and she went straight to the compost pile, mooed in no general direction for a while, and wandered all over looking for something she couldn't find. Then she found a hen laying an egg in an out of the way corner and she nuzzled that poor hen until she got up and moved. When the hen came back to her spot to try again, Ginger again nuzzled her.

Then she did two strange stretches.

Either this is the day or she is upping the ante of torturing me. I put her back in her stall with a special flake of hay (shook out the leafy bits of half of it into a tub for her....and gave the stems to everyone else) Oh, and Willow, our hormone Geiger Counter....made a beeline for her behind, all her hair up on her back, and followed Ginger, sniffing her hiney and walking all stiff-legged. Something is up.



I'm in for a quick and hearty breakfast just in case.

I was asked once on byh if I followed my goat with a clipboard, taking notes! I don't need a clipboard. My brain notices and stores details. Not names or faces of people I meet, though, for some reason!
