Yep! They have a color chart to go by. The darker blue the further along they are. The strips are already tinted blue...but on my open doe the blue faded down to no color at all. On the bred ones the blue gets darker.

Get your cup ready, lol!

Day 3 of no eating. Talk about a bummer for T'giving... :( I managed to give myself a horrible case of something before I took a single bite of the t'giving feast. I'm such a dolt, lol. I can kinda laugh about it now, but it was pretty rough. I was at my son's and plucked a lemon off his tree.....and ate that sucker. It was small and sour as heck and it felt like it burned a hole right through my intestines. I got sick, really sick within an hour of eating it and had to leave.

Stayed on the sofa all day yesterday. It's the first time in years that I didn't go out and tend to my animals. They have hay but they didn't get grain. I'm better today but still can't eat. I'm living off of green tea and honey. I had a couple bites of yogurt yesterday and I baked a tiny potato today and had a few bites of it.

Perfect way to diet - get too sick to eat. Yay?

We've had a tremendous amount of rain the last few days. It cleared off this morning and turned into a beautiful day but we're more than caught up from our summer deficit. My tiny little pond is finally full! I really hope it dries up before we start having babies. I don't want babies in this muck. Just a bit over a month before the first arrivals. I think the first doe is due the first week of January. Yay!

Oh no! I’m so sorry you got sick! I hope you are better now and continue to improve. We got a glimpse of sunshine yesterday afternoon and it’s going to be sunny today! We still are in a rain deficit but I’m sure tired of rain and gloom. My ponds are not full, but I’m delighted with sunshine!

oh dear! sometimes when eating acidic foods after not having many it can kick off gall bladder problems (this is why when you read up on home remedies sometimes they talk about a gall bladder purge which involves a lot of fats and a lot of acid (like grapefruit juice and olive oil in more quantities than you'd think it a good idea to drink all at once)).

hopefully it isn't anything permanent and you'll be back to upright soon!

i'd send you a bucket of mashed potatoes but Mom would yell at me for giving away "HER" potatoes... :) be well and get better! :hugs
