Golf! 🤣. Why hit a ball in a hole 🤷 drop it in & be done!!
Heck, I wouldn't even do that much, lol.

Edited my previous post. I drove 2.5 hours to watch her play. Then walked my toes off. She thought she played terribly but ended up 9th out of 90.

Haven't heard how it went today. I'll check with her later.

I swear I'll never try to sell a goat again. People want them for free or they want you to pay them to take them...or something like that, lol.

Few days ago I got an email asking if I would sell goats for meat. Yep - if you buy a goat from me it's yours - you can eat it if you wish.

This morning I get an email from the same person. He says "if I buy one will you butcher it for me?" Nope. Not at all. Will absolutely NOT butcher it for you. You can purchase the goat and take it to a processor if you don't want to do it yourself.

I feel like I should put all my "won'ts" in my postings from now on.

No, I will not butcher it.

No, I will not deliver it.

No, I will not hold it for two weeks.

No, I will not bathe it.

No, I will not give you a year's worth of worm medication.

Here are the things I will do.

I will sell you a healthy goat.

I will make sure said goat has had it's shots,

been wormed

and has had coccidia protection.

And - most importantly - it WILL be cute!

I guess I can't blame somebody for asking....but some of these folks have a lot of noive!

i guess you could find a butcher and work out with them an arrangement where you can refer people to them...

but you could make it very simple by saying that you only sell live animals.

Buyers are often beyond belief!!
You said it! The laugh of the day today is the latest email I got.

Will I rent out a goat so this guy can tie it up in various places on his property to eat brush. NO - on so many levels. Sigh.... I've never had any trouble selling goats. I don't know what's going on now.

Guess we'll be eating goat around here, lol!

I'll finally get around to canning the rest of the potatoes. Plan to do some more baked beans too. Need to pick up some more navy beans.

Not sure when or how but I still want to plant a few more things.

DH is doing ok right now. Not great, but certainly a lot better than terrible, lol! (did that even make sense?) It's currently 4:30a and I've been up for an hour. Need lots more coffee or a nap.

stability is better than up and down...

i think we've entered the "like button" age. when everything thinks that just by pushing a button they can get anything done, but they don't want to do it themselves...

i would also like to stay in bed all morning but once i'm awake it doesn't often happen that i can get back to sleep again.
