71? Wow! We have a saying here "I look forward to summer, the rain gets warmer" lol Hope it clears up enough and long enough for you to get your outside projects for the weekend done.

Getting a little sidetracked from work....but for a good reason! Going to look at this little Kiko buckling in a minute! Hope I come home with him!

His mom and sister.

They asked me if I wanted his registration papers - for a little extra money. I laughed and told 'em I'd rather get him to weaning age first. Despite all the years I've been raising goats - bottle raising isn't something I've done much of. I've supplemented lots of times, but have only totally bottle raised a couple times. This is his dad. Ain't he purty!

He's gorgeous!! Are kikos expensive there? They're horribly expensive here.

I've checked other breeders and their bucks are in the $300 - 400 dollar range - but that's for weaned bucklings. These folks haven't got that "name recognition" yet - so their prices were much more reasonable - and he's a bottle baby. I paid $175 for him - but if I want to register him I'll have to pay additional for that. I think they said $50. I thought I'd make sure he doesn't die before I pay more money...
