I didn't really want to drive down there today - feeling a little cruddy. Every time we get a northern breeze I get hit with cedar pollen - and it KICKS MY BUTT!

But, it was good to get 'er done. I need to see when the transfer hits their account and then cancel the insurance on the house. I think they'll get a little refund from that.

Realtor felt so bad about yanking my chain for the last couple days that he bought me a bottle of tequila, lol. Somewhere in one of our conversations I must've mentioned something about a margarita - so he ponied up and got the good stuff too. It might be a while before I even open that bottle, cuz I'm just not feeling it right now - but it's nice to know it's there if I ever want it. Or I might even re-gift it. :hu

Noticed tonight while feeding that one of my FF's is starting to grow a tiny little udder - how cute!

DH took Conan out to the back yard today and gave him some running room. Oh my that little guy can run and kick and jump, lol. Cowboy had to come up and meet him. Cowboy loves the babies - but this baby wasn't so sure about him. Pleased to say that they worked it out.

The wire transfer came through from the house sale and whoopee does their bank account look healthy, lol. I'm spending some time this morning trying to tidy up all the loose ends of home ownership for them. I've been canceling utilities and insurance - still have a few more calls to make. They should get a small refund from their insurance company for a month's worth of pre-paid coverage.

I'm about to take my lunch break and go pick up feed. I'm literally scraping the bottom of the barrels. Don't really feel like unloading a bunch of feed today but that's part of the process... doesn't even do any good to whine about it, lol.

DH was supposed to be cleaning out the brooder this week. He started yesterday and was supposed to finish up today. The droppings should do the garden a bit of good. Wish it weren't still so muddy out there. I need to tiptoe in there and pick some more broccoli (that I just might eat all by myself, lol).

:weee ON CLOSING!!!!! :weee

That will pull some stress for a while. AND it will give an end to all of the "house concerns" for you.

Feed .... yep, that for me too today. Wrenched my back a few days ago so put this off, felt like I could unload it and did. NOW I feel like there's a Charlie horse in my lower back again. Ouch! Damned thing tenses up like a fist if I bend or twist wrong way. OK cream, heat, Alleve...again. :( Knew better

Need to check the weather for next week so I can decide which day I might be able to butcher these roos I grabbed and penned up today. Got 2 more to add, then all 7 will be dispatched. They are from summer hatches. They've free ranged all their lives and do not like being cooped up now. Too bad. I plan to skin them. You know, they have some really nice feathers!! Maybe I can find a fisherman who makes their own lures.

@Mini Horses - I feel your pain. :( Only, my pain is my shoulder...back is doing ok for now. But, I'd rather it be a shoulder than a back because back problems can stop you in your tracks. Sounds like you've got the right plan....don't forget some gentle stretches. They seem to help me. Hope you get those roo's butchered!

Woo Hoo! Found a use for some of that tequila! http://www.geniuskitchen.com/recipe/grilled-tequila-salmon-57297 I don't have all the right stuff so I'm improvising a bit.... bet it'll still be tasty!

Yep -- stretches for sure! Start them before I even get out of bed. Actually some are easier laying down. :) Especially since you don't have to worry you will bend and not get up

Hurt yesterday, felt good this AM. Should not have moved 50# bags of grain to bins. ooooops.:hide

I used to go get feed and unload it all by myself. I had Saturday and Sunday off, DH had Sunday and Monday off. Now we are both off, LOL. So we go together and we both unload feed.

@Mini Horses you better watch out for that back! You don't need any down time, unless it is of your choosing, like watching movies and eating chocolate. LOL
