Most stressful day EVER! My co-worker and I spent 90 minutes with the director of HR and the VP of Student Services today. They are talking to the college lawyer asap and hopefully things will play out the way we all want it to. However, if things don't work well I might be looking for another job real soon.... can't work with this woman any longer.
I won't go down because she's willing to misappropriate federal funds AND steal time from the college. They're talking to the college lawyers and telling us it might take a few days to get all their ducks in a row - ugh. Talk about rough working conditions right now. Also, we might be called in on any hearing that may come of this - not to mention any unemployment claims by her. Geeze! I would loved to have just let this go - but I won't.
Babies are doing well and sooo cute. Guess I'll have to disbud this weekend - . I don't wanna - but dang sure gotta get 'er done!
Goodness, FEM, that sounds horrible and stressful! I hope they will get everything sorted soon as possible and won't have to involve you guys more than absolutely necessary
Thanks! I'll try to get pics...lately I feed in the dark in the mornings and I feed in the dark in the evening because of the crazy stuff at work. I am hopeful that the powers here will move on this quickly!
I hope you can get better working conditions soon. At my last job the boss that the owner hired was stealing from the company. The dummy put it all on the American Express card, the office manager paid all the bills. She made copies of all the Amex bills to protect herself. She finally found another job to get away from it all, then called the owner and met with her and her lawyer. Needless to say, the thief got fired. I had already quit because I hated him. The office manager and I were friends and she confided in me, so whenever he was blasting her and I was around, I spoke up in her defense. It was fun to watch his face turn red and purple with rage. She was afraid and wouldn't fight back, but I didn't have that problem.
