I've only gotten the flu shot twice in my life. Once I got the flu - once I didn't. :hu

same here! I hate flu vaccines, but my parents are old enough now that my family is getting it every year now to protect them. And my BIL died from the flu a couple months ago, so yeah.

Sometimes it's necessary to protect other folks more than yourself...I can understand that. My DH gets one every year. Two years ago was when I took mine and we both got the flu even though we both had the shot... but...whaddya gonna do? Folks gotta do what works for them.

Exciting news!!! My beans are up! And squash is up! Radishes are up! Tomatoes are blooming! I might have a garden-ish after all. Yay!

Ugh!

I've only gotten the flu shot twice in my life. Once I got the flu - once I didn't. :hu

My arm is sore from the pneumonia shot I got. I'm not loving it - but I need to stop being a baby, lol. Hip was horrible on Wednesday, pretty good on Thursday and mediocre today. Geeze... I need this thing to decide what it wants to do. Either get better or stay bad enough that I get my butt to the cute ortho doc's office.
:hugs Hope it gets better!

It better! It's got no choice - there's work to do, lol. I'd like to make good progress in the garden today. I'm tired of just getting a little done here and there. The plan is to get the rest of the planting done. Still have a few tubs to get out of the main garden area and set up around the raised beds in the yard. Then I'd like to get another load of barn gold brought up to use in the tubs and raised beds. Busy, busy!

Ewwwww 42? That's major sucky! Nope, doesn't sound like a gardening day for you.

Ugh. Just saw our weather forecast - Rain is predicted for 8 of the next 10 days. But, they've predicted a lot of rain for us lately that hasn't materialized....so I'm hopeful that they're wrong again. Guess I should tackle mowing the yard though - just in case.

Ew yeah about the same amount of rain forecasted here.

Hey what kind of minerals do you use? Looking for price and availability to change mine up:)

I've been using Manna Pro. I think it's a decent mineral but I hate the price. I also have Kelp that I dole out - and the Replamin Plus. It's crazy though - the does are getting Replamin every weekend, kelp/minerals every day and they still go after the stupid horse mineral block. I've not been putting out the minerals/kelp free choice though - I throw a couple handfuls in their feed every evening. Real precise, huh? I'm thinking I'm going to increase what I'm mixing in their feed. But, I've read/heard if you use the Replamin it should take the place of any loose minerals. I'm beginning to doubt that - at least here.... sigh. Or maybe they will eventually get enough and stop craving it so much.
