June bug: June bugs (Phyllophaga) can be eaten at both the larval and adult stage. Native Americans roasted them over coals and ate them like popcorn.
Yummy - I need to get me some, lol! Some consider them a perfectly tasty survival food....
Butchering on the agenda for tomorrow morning. Should probably have done it this morning, but just didn't feel like mixing butchering and baking. Somehow it just didn't feel right, lol.
i think it always wise to listen to what your body/mind are telling you as i've found out that doing things otherwise can lead to more mistakes or even injuries.
