OK another question...do chickens eat marigolds? Any harmful effects? Also, same question with zinnias?

I've never seen them actually eat my marigolds but some feeds include calendula petals (pot marigolds) in their mix to increase yolk color. I've never seen my free rangers eat either flower in a natural setting, zinnias or marigolds.

Thanks! I'm putting a lot of planning for this next garden. I want it to be eyepleasing as well as productive. My chickens free range the backyard in the evenings, so I gotta look out for them as well. Thanks again.
