I'm happy to report that I have another Mama hen who has hatched 2 babies!! As soon as I get a pic I'll post it.
I may have noticed 2nd Mama and babies first but I let my Uncle get the first pics of them seeing how I was able to get the first pics of the other three.

That's one of the newest additions to my flock. As you can see it's got a hurt foot. Right now I have it in the house in the small cat carrier on the kitchen table. I'm giving it electrolyte solution. What can I do to help the foot?

Well, I proved to my Uncle that I could mow the entire yard even though he added more to it when he was here in one day.
I think I've got a new favorite kitchen appliance. It's a FoodSaver! I don't know why I never used it before.
This morning I did up 5 bags of yellow squash and zucchini mixed and 8 bags of green beans for future use.

I love my FoodSaver! I vacuum seal squash, thaw it out, cut a corner off the bag and wring out the water. Then i roll the slices in cornmeal and fry. It's almost as good as fresh!

That's the third handful of blueberries I've gotten off the single Blueberry bush in my hand. There's still plenty that have to ripen but I pick the ripe ones every few days.

Well, I had a doctor's appointment today. I was told no more white bread, pasta and rice plus I'm allowed to have a 3oz piece of red meat a week and NO MORE SUGAR! I've also got to do FASTING blood work next week and one of the test is for Celalic disease which goes hand in hand with IBS.
