HAPPY THANKSGIVING

sure came fast this year :) time is flying by.


we are having it on Sunday. Thurs hubby works his 12 hr day as usual. thought they were doing shut-down but they have alot of work so they have to just keep the schedule. We are cool with it. called mom, she put the turkey back in the freezer. she had it out for 2 hrs when I called. she was glad I called LOL

my hubby works a 16 hr shift not only thankgiving but also christmas day this year too. :somad but at least our kids are grown enough to understand. we do our thanksgiving at my moms and have @30 people.

Our youngest son and his wife are flying in from CA with plans to stay here for a week, yeah! Our oldest son is still traveling abroad, back in India now, so he won't be here. Thankfully our daughter is close enough that she's doing some cooking and we're all planning on eating too much.

Happy Thanksgiving for our American friends.

(Ours in Canada comes about 6 weeks earlier - more northerly climate has made for an earlier harvest festival tradition. We got a number of Happy Thanksgiving wishes from our American friends on a thread here on SS, and appreciated it.)
