We have a did you get it FREE thread, but couldn't find one about getting good deals at sales, Craig's List, or such, so thought I'd create one. Got any good deals lately?

Was tickled to find this yesterday....

Usually retails for $249-$349....got it for $20, along with the battery, which is dead and needs a new charger. Don't know if it runs yet~this was a sale to empty out a storage unit of items left behind by someone else(lots of really nice stuff!), so the people having the sale couldn't say if it runs or not, but for $20 I was willing to gamble on it. Got a little girl or two who will simply LOVE this!

Rain boots~$2

Kids books~FREE

I think I mentioned the last time we had a good rainfall my house and the neighbours got a bit flooded? My floors thankfully are tiled, theirs is wood… My landlady's brother owns the neighbouring house, so she is supervising the repairs (he lives abroad). She came over this afternoon and asked me if anyone tossed timber over the wall? I said no, why? She knows I'm up to all sorts in the backyard here and asked the guys repairing and replacing the floor next door to toss any planks they can't repair over the wall, into my backyard, so I can use them any way I see fit :) I said as long as they don't throw them into my berry garden, which is close to the back wall, I'm in! There is SO much I can use planks for at the moment, I'm delighted with this idea.

What a blessing!!! How cool that she thought of you and I hope they toss you a lot of good wood for coop building. Let us know if you get any.

Got 50 FREE bales of hay today!!!!! :weee :ya :celebrate

And it's not even mulch hay, but last year's first cut that's been stored in a barn all year. Very clean, very nice, fresh smelling. God is so very good!!!!! :love

He knew exactly when I needed the hay and then provided it....pressed down and running over. :bow

Do y'all know how rare it is to get this kind of hay for free...or ANY hay for free at this time of year?? :woot This fella just needed it gone quickly so he could put his new hay in the barn before it rains. I'm feeling so very blessed right now.
