I've needed to go clothes shopping for quite a while. It's a chore I hate. But almost every shirt I have has paint or bleach or rips...
Anyway, my neighbors niece apparently doesn't have this problem. Apparently they clean their closets out every few months. And this week, my neighbor asked me if I knew anyone who could use any clothes before tgey hauled them off to a thrift store. I do love it when the clothes come right to me! :) I actually ended up with more for my husband than for myself, but have 5 large black trash bags of clothes to go through. And I was also able to help a lady at church too.
Then to top it off, before I left, my neighbors sister asked if I knew anyone who wanted a free breadmaker. It even has the instruction book and recipes. It has a new home on my kitchen counter. :)

I might've already posted this, but I also recently picked free peaches:

And got free compost:

Time to go build a fence using free pallets to plant a pollinators garden... :)

I went to the county and got another two loads of free compost. On the last load, I found a 10 foot tow chain in the load of compost. I will need to clean it off but it looks to be in great shape!

I got a bench!! :love Someone threw it out and it was lying on the side of the road for ages. I got a tip off and arranged transport and went and collected it this evening. (The bottle on it is a gallon water bottle I put there for scale)

Sumi, I LOVE that bench! I hope you don't paint it, it's got such a nice patina! Is it sturdy? That will look lovely in your rose garden.

Did your pumpkin seeds germinate? :pop

Very cool bench, @sumi! I bet your partner in crime likes it too. :)

@frustratedearthmother it's always great to get free food for the animals. I wish I had a pig right now. My neighbor gave me a bunch of cabbage leaves, but the chickens won't touch them.

I also got free cabbage this week. We had steamed cabbage with supper tonight. :)

Aaaaand I was given several flowers that will come back every year. My neighbors found out I'm making a new flower garden, and I was given moon flowers, cana lilies, salvia, and 4 o'clocks. I was also given some mother-in-law's tongue since mine froze this last winter.
