Get great 4G here. Property is up high and I can see two towers at night over top of 100's of acres of corn.

Got a lid on the first 12' x 18' and fenced in for chickens and turkeys. Used recycled tin that the previous owner, had stacked up on a long skid. I must admit I was a little intimidated getting my butt up there to nail down the tin. I didn't build the stalls, so I went over it real well and put in nails where I thought they needed it. Then I got my butt up there. I'm pretty sure nothing is OSHA approved I even reused the farmers ladder. My wife said did you make that ladder? No, whoever framed this did. She dubbed it "The Farmers Ladder".

Chicken and turkeys seem to like there new digs. But the didn't like being moved one little bit in the back of my truck in baby bears' dog crate.

My 4 turkey chicks are doing well on distilled water. I'm no scientist by any means... But I think our "city" water that contains clorimine, was what was poisoning my previous broods. I've read that turkey hatchlings don't have fully developed livers like chicken hatchlings do. So feeding them pure water that does not contain clorimine or clorine, is a logical sense approach for me to try. Distilled water is as close as we can get to pure water.

I now have 4 sources of water. City water, 2 cisterns, a deep well and a approx 2 acre pond.

That’s great! You won’t have to worry about chlorine in your turkeys’ water any more!

@CrealCritter Find a nice sunny spot to make a raised bed for planting cranberries!! I recently discovered how easy they are to grow. I won't have any to pick until next year, but they are really hardy little plants.
