Nifty - I've been doing this for years. At my Target (I'm in Minneapolis, which is Target central) they also sell refill bags of Method soap, so there are lots of choices when it comes time to re-use the bottle. One refill bag has been known to last me a 6-9 months since I only need a small amount mixed with 80% water -- and that's with a family of 5 all washing frequently!
I use the same pump in the kitchen for any dishwashing. It's a good excuse to be able to purchase expensive dish soap (Mrs. Meyers lemon verbena is my favorite) since I can make it last so much longer. And with a quick scrub of my dish wand, the soap washes away easily with no residue. Works great for us!
