Hair cut (trash to treasure)

Back at it... Got 7 more months until my newest granddaughter turns 1. But that's in January and long hair keeps you warm. I may have to wait until March. Thank God it's past the PITA stage and can be pulled back in a little squirrel tail now.

When I'm in doubt... about how much of a PITA it is to grow my hear long enough to donate. All I gotta do is watch the video in post 17. Afterwards, all the troubles vanish and a renewed determination comes over me. I don't know the little girl in that video, but she's in a fight with something that is trying to take her life. If my hair made her happy even for a minute, it's so totally worth it to me. Even if it means being Curly Critter.

My wife measured it at 12 1/2" inches a few weeks ago. Needs to be 14" plus to donate.

It's wavy and curly, but when wet or stretched out, it'a a lot longer. I may wait until spring to get a buzz cut. This hair keeps me warm.

Probably should add how its odd that there is no gray in my hair. But look at the mess on my face. It's amazing how many younger folks call me sir now after growing this mess.
