Happy Halloween back at ya FC!
This is also DH's birthday so we are celebrating that today at a Mexican food restaurant and later building our first fire of the year in our oversized fireplace. Just hanging out, listening to (MORE) Halloween music and that's about it.
Passed on a couple Halloween parties; he isn't up to anything past 8pm.

We don't get trick or treaters because we are too rural and the kids go to the developments and schools anyhow.
Last year we went to the local fire station for a parking lot trick-or- treat set up where everyone parks the cars around the perimeter and hands out candy from the car trunk. This was poorly organized and the kids never made it over to our area of 30 cars on the other side of the station. We dropped off our bags inside and left. I see they canceled that for this year. Good call.

Rain here now, but weather people say it should clear up by afternoon sometime, so that'll be nice.

happy spooky boo day!!!!

we set the dogs on trick or treaters here. JUST KIDDING - they do a thing in town for the kids. we are way to rural for that.

i'm dressing up as a an ex-Left coast corporate monkey turned SS farmer! whoot!

here's a funny - my man obsessively loves halloween. he even wanted to get MARRIED on halloween. me? my sound track to this all hallow's eve is.... gospel. old school gospel. loud. real loud. i'm more hallelujah than halloween so i smacked him with my bible and told him there was no way i was going to be his bride of frankenstein.

so we compromise at this time of year - when he wasnt looking i threw out all his glow in the dark skulls and talking animated crows - and he can have funny ghosts and happy witches if he wants to decorate. and one seriously obnoxious, completely stupid tshirt that says "this IS my costume.' he's wearing it now.

however you celebrate - have a great day!!

Happy Halloween to all.

No trick or treaters here and no small kids.

So just another day. DH is baking an Apple Casserole though. (Apple Casserole = Deep Dish Apple Pie) We have decided if we call it a casserole it is good for you and can be eaten as a meal.

Edited because before I did nothing made sense. LOL

Happy Halloween to all! It just started to rain here about half an hour ago so we had a good night for trick or treating. DH went with our 7, and a friend and his son. They did our little dead end street and the one around the corner. Then I drove him to my mom's and friends from church. It was warm, with the moon and clouds and breezy, lots of rustling leaves. Perfect.
We had a record number of trick or treaters-22!
