I did some research and find out that one of the cast died last year after making this film. I believe it is Rob who died while trying to save his brother.

I wasn't interested in the Harry Potter books. My youngest tried to get me to read it and I was busy. But I took her to the first movie. When we came home I sat down and read the book......then the second....then I tried to read the third but fell asleep....woke up and kept reading. I was really irritated when I went looking for the 5th book and was told she didn't have it because it wasn't out!

We bought 2 copies of each book after that. So yes, we are waiting with baited breath to see the next movie!

That's basically the way we were hooked; went to see the movie and then had to read it all...
I don't know if you'd feel the same way, but I read the first Twilight book. The story is about love between a high school girl and a vampire.
The book isn't written anywhere near as well as Harry Potter, but it has an arresting quality about it, you want to find out what happens.
The girls in my middle school group are all ga-ga about Twilight and I wanted to read it to keep up with them; I wasn't prepared for how much I liked it.
Anybody else read it?

It seems to be primarily a girls book. I didn't care for it and quit reading after a few chapters. My wife read it and like it a little. She didn't read the next ones though our girls did.

I agree that it is not nearly as well written or engaging as Harry Potter.

I have seen a couple of trailers online for the Harry Potter movie. Has anyone seen them in the theatre yet?

was excited about the very first "Harry Potter", just as I was for the very first "Lord of The Rings" movies.

Once I have seen the special affects and have an idea how the story lines will develop, I lose interest.

I am sure I will hear all about the next HP from the neighbor's kids, though!

This weekend, on the Family Channel, is a Harry Potter marathon with promos for the new Harry Potter movie. Be there or be square!
