Has anyone else read "The Help" yet?

I call it bigotry no matter who does it. I am also disgusted by all the racially segregated things that are so commonplace and strangely considered acceptable....Black Women's Business Association, a local Latino BNI, etc. It only furthers the problem. I also am irritated by women-only things (formal ones) when the same women would never allow any "men-only" things of any kind. It is hypocrisy, and bigotry comes in every color, too.

I am in a mixed marriage and have seen bigotry from every direction. Mostly white, though.

I read it a couple of years ago after a friend recommended it. I thought it was a very good book.
