Has anyone ever dealt with dementia in elderly dogs?

My cat had alzheimers, she would walk into a room and then cry until you got her out of there. She would knock over things or fall down and cry until you found her (not easy in our house! Its huge..)

But she didn't quite get the dementia.

*hugs* its never an easy decision.
