Well I could be heat-deficient too. My house is pretty big (over 2300 sf) and all electric with a huge commercial freezer and some lights all night due to coyotes, and my bill was less than $80 last month. I use the fireplace and a bedroom heater but rarely heat the whole house. And my boss will leave doors open to air out the building if it's 60 degrees in there.

I'm not cold in the summer?

I just know I'm different than I used to be. Ten years ago I could play outside in winter in short sleeves.

So I dunno. I got some iodine recently anyway. My adrenals have been weak for a while.

I rarely get cold,..just when I stop and sit down,..then that is only occasionally. Most of the time I am burning up,..the other day it was 30 something degrees and I was outside working in a t-shirt. I hate summer also,..I feel like I am going to melt,..literally. :)

the health food store that i go to says she wil order in Lugols, but she can't fid any info in the form of pamphlets etc, so as to instruct people how to use it. Any info I can pass along to her? I am going to get her to at least order in a bottle for me.

but, I'm not cold. I dress appropriately for the weather. My only complaint is I have Raynauds phenomena. although this year it is not as bad as it has been. And I just lost 30 lbs.

For much of my life, I felt like I was burning up all the time, but, I had ice blocks for feet and hands.
The hot feeling was my body trying to heat me up
I now have a consistant pre O temp of 97.5, instead of 97.2 and often much lower.

I buy my Lugol's from www.jcrowsmarketplace.com

That's me!!! 96.4-98.6 LOL. I haven't had a thermometer in the house for years so I don't know if it's gone up on my healthier eating methods. :hu

I'd have a raging fever with hallucinations at 99. :gig

But I definitely know I have metabolic issues.

I have felt as excessively hot since I started taking vitamin D. I can tolerate the heat and the sun more :D

What exactly IS Lugols?

edit for grammar.

Iodine brand.

More likely Abi, you have adrenal issues that need addressing more then anything. Especially since you said iodine stays on your skin for a long time.
Likely linked to stress related to seizures. They are hard! I knew a man that had petit mals often, and they wiped him out for several hours.

My hands aren't cold in the general sense. If I go outside when it is near freezing, worse if its damp, I lose circulation in my fingers. they go white. It takes me a while to warm them up ( I usually stick them in my pits) but once the circulation gets going again, I'm fine. When they warm up, they go though a whole rainbow of colours, and settle on reddish. but as far as body temp, sitting her athe puter, my hands and body are comfortable . Good gloves come in very handy when i go out to do chores.

As far as the Lugols, does anyone hav any info that i might be able to give to the lady at my health food store so she can instruct ppl on how to use the iodine? eta--and for what ailments it is beneficial for. tx
