I stopped by because with the state of our country and the threat of economic collapse, where do I turn... my old ss friends.

I've been looking at survival food, but not sure which company has a good product. I'm not looking to hoard like Dooms Day Preppers, but it's time to get our bug out bags ready.

Not sure how much the forum has changed since I left ( WAAAAYYY too much drama and I really missed the information I learned instead of the bickering) so hopefully it's calmed down and it's gotten back to an environment of learning.

How has everyone been?

Every board I've ever been on has had its times of bickering. Some people leave, others stay. And you always get new people that join afterward to take up the slack. Good to see you back.

This is ALL TOO TRUE! BYC has gone through this several times in my history there. As much as I hate to see a community shaken up: The one that happened here was no where near as severe as the BYC ones and that forum has transformed, evolved and grown in many ways through and because of those shake ups.

Regardless of the "growing pains" there is still a lot of valuable information on this site.

As for food storage I go with the adage "store what you eat and eat what you store" But my stuff is not for bugging out. Its definitely not mobile.
