Found this site from Backyard Chickens.

We have a small homestead of eight acres, about five are woods. The woods have been neglected for decades, and need tending. Lots of weed trees, brambles...lots of work ahead.

Our soil has a lot of clay, so we're using BTE to condition it.

We've put in our little orchard this year. Apples, pears, plums, and cherries, along with blueberry bushes and currants. We also have about 30 young, middle aged, and older black walnut trees. We're hoping to add some English walnuts next spring.

This spring we got our first chickens, and next year we plan to add rabbits.

Hoping to meet some like-minded people, and learn a lot.
