Ok then, the question is why they weren't thriving in the bins. Hmmm...curious. All of ours have gone bananas in the bins. Even a little tiny test bin I did with a shoebox did great. I even ignored that one on accident and it still thrived. So you have a curious problem there. But yeah, the compost pile will be heavenly for them

Oh man, so true, so true. I figure we'll get about a month or so of summer and that's it at this rate LOL

Hey, good to meet another Washingtonian Every time we go to Forks we have to stop at that Mexican restaurant on the side street - wow!
Chickens have been a big learning curve for me, can't imagine getting into goat ownership - yet. Do you smoke your meat to preserve it?
