Hahaha :frow nice to see a familiar name :p

Hey there! The weather is warming up to 69° so I'm happy to be outside working :D need to grow grass for the chickens but they devour everything in their path. Never thought a couple of hens could pull a plant from its roots
I swear those feathered ladies start from the root up.

My poor blueberry plant has been almost destroyed and what grass, I must have imagined seeding my back garden.

Oh no, the poor blueberries! That reminds me, I need to block them from the roots for the grapes.

yes, chickens can be used to disturb an area and to clear it but they play havoc on diversity if not managed and areas are not protected from their foraging for a time.

this will be the same with any predator species. we really do have to manage our populations if we want a diverse and productive ecology.
