Mine, too! Sometimes they exasperate me too, though.
I got a foot of snow today and mine refused to step their little hooves out into it. So I went out and shoveled paths everywhere in their enclosure that they like to go. Now they are out romping around! I have three that are about two weeks old, and then their moms and their uncle, a wether. I'm fairly new to country livin' so lots of folks here have been educating me. I actually credit Freemotion for the three kids because I could not find a stud to use. She suggested buying one and then selling him after (we have no buck quarters) and I just JUST THAT and got my doeling and two little bucklings for almost absolutely free, because I sold the buck for the same price I bought him for. I was able to get a real nice little buck and he made adorable kids. But this year I want to breed them to a mini nubian (this year they were first fresheners) so I would not have wanted that same little buck here again. So it worked perfect!
There are tons of great ideas here like that though....and if it hasn't already been talked about....you can just ask and everyone here is so helpful...and sometimes funny too! But we also get serious and talk about our family, our homes, our animals, our spirituality, our goals and dreams, and our self sufficient accomplishments of course.
I'm a dog rescuer and everyone here is kind enough to humor me and read my stories about it, kind of like being my editor. Several other members here really OUGHT to be writers....Beekissed and OFG especially stand out as authors I whose books I would enjoy. And some folks would rather read stuff the others write and comment. It is a great group!
