See ya February! Never thought a short month could last so long!
What's on your to-do list?

I am going to start some broccoli and other cool season seeds this week if I get my tush in gear. Need to get some seed starter dirt stuff. It's time for a thorough clean out of the coop too. It's getting funky in there from all the time they spent in it during the "white death".

Our dog caught a possum inside the fenced-in yard last night. Guess we will be looking at making sure everything is even more critter proof.

Planning an area to be fenced in for some broilers and maybe turkeys some time in summer.

:woot Let's hope the snow is over as well :fl

Well this month, my to do list is large & I can finally start some stuff:

-Start seedlings for garden
-Plant peas, spring lettuce mix
-have dh finish the bantie coop, additional layer coop & meatie tractor...along with my help ;)
-Try to make homemade feeders & waterers for all of the chickens
-MAJOR deep-cleaning of current coop
-Start new compost pile

I'm sure I have other things inside, but I'm focusing on the outside!

My gosh! It is March, isn't it? :love
Still looks like February outside.
I still have a long uncompleted list from fall; guess I'll cross out fall and write in spring, lol.

It is supposed to reach almost 60 here by the end of the week!!!!! Yea!!! We can finish the greenhouse and start some cool crops! I don't think the bad weather is over though. Spring isn't here quite yet. The last couple of years have been funky. No telling what is ahead.

Waiting for the snow to melt away

Hubby just called me and told me he is getting ready to go get some lumber for the raised beds. So we'll be building those, starting seeds, building a coop...and I need to wash my siding. Lookin' pitiful!
