YAY! It's March!!

Our March project - well, the first and only one for now - is building 4x4 bantam pens in the new coop addition. Two pens on the floor, and two above that. Just the right size to hold pairs or trios!



And, my bantams can live in them all winter - so they'll be warmer next winter and not so much worry over losing bantams!

Other March projects - more breed pens. Trying to set them up where they will be permanent so no more consolidating breeds over winter!

OK, March plans get put on hold for a few days at least - kids have stomach flu and I'm putting all available energy into not getting sick myself. Sigh. And I haven't slept well in a couple weeks so I"m dragging. Need a new mattress.

I went to get seed starting supplies last night and stupid store only had really tine, really expensive bags of starter and those little peat pots that I fail with every time. Look's like dirt's gonna cost me this year May as well buy seedlings.
