Pigs are apparently smarter than dogs and cats and can be trained to do all sorts of things.

My ex-DH told me before we met they had a pig that used to sneak up and bite people's rear ends.

Pigs are way smart, which is why hunting wild boar is one of the more dangerous of big game. I would make sure no small children EVER go into a pig yard unsupervised, as they have been known to kill and eat children. They are adorable when young, but can become very dangerous as they grow older. ( I know I'm gonna get slammed by all the people that have adorable pet piggies, but seriously- they aren't ALL sweety pies)

Britesea, I got attacked by a pig (shared the story elsewhere on the forum before), so I agree with you 100%. They are adorable, but they are animals. Just like dogs and cats, pigs can be aggressive too and they can seriously hurt a person. Thankfully most of the pigs I've had over the years were sweet and great to have around and interact with, but there is always an exception.

I agree wholeheartedly. Love my pig, but my daughter never goes in the pen and I don't ever really trust a pig. I had a pet pot belly, she was the meanest pig I've ever had. She had to go live at a farm with no kids!

No slam here!! It's true. Not all are nice and when not nice, they are vicious. Just a 300# log, on a mission.

So, Yes, I noticed the name change....and at first thought it was someone "new", until I saw the posts. You just gotta stop screwing up these old brains-- well, what's left of them!
