I do have an el cheapo stick blender, but it was getting hot! So I alternated stirring by hand and blendering. Still tired my hand out- it's too fat to grip well for stirring.

Here's hoping it worked. I was just on the soap sales websites to get more shea butter- I love it in my soaps. And saw silicone oval guest sized mold that I just had to get. I need supplies for the craft fair at work in mid November, right?

Me I love coco butter in my soap! Can't quite afford the shea yet!
I had my mom save me her Land O' Lakes butter with a bit of oil blended in little tubs- they are just right for hand sized oval molds! I did end up with a few that were too thick but my son's best friend plays guitar and got new strings and let me have the old ones! so I save the super thin one for cutting cheese chunks and the next sized one for my soaps! Cuts thru like butter I tell ya!

Also find a nice wire wisk that you don't mind using only for soap- I have about 6 that I picked up here and there so one got dedicated just for soap making!
