Man, is he scary looking! Thankfully the barn is behind the house and only one set of neighbors can see. I'll have to call them in the morning. They must have figured something is up when they heard his screams.
There is still a tiny trickle of blood. I think he bumped it going into the barn just now.
What a day..........

Well, Thomas is still among the living. He's hiding in the barn a lot. He has come out to eat hay and drink and he lay in the sun with the does for a while. He's just not himself yet. I suspect he's in quite a bit of pain. He's crusted with dried blood but I'm not going to stress him by trying to do anything about it.
More to report later. Have to "encourage" DS to finish his book report. It's not due until Tuesday but he has Little League try-outs tomorrow and Cub Scouts Monday night. I want it done tonight!

ETA: It's DONE!! He did a great job on it too. Let's hope his teacher agrees! He got his second trimester report card yesterday. All As and one B+ in his academics. He had an A+ in Religion! What a difference from last year. This is time of year he usually backslides and everything goes south. Not so far this year.

I went to the craft fair where Glenolam was selling her soaps and bought a bagful!! Always fun to meet a fellow SSer. Well, I've only met her and Free, but it's still COOL!

So far, I haven't met anyone from this board, but I've met several from another board.

I was reading the beginning of your journal, and saw that you do letter boxing. I've never heard of that b4, but I went to the link, opened it and read about it. I think it's something I would enjoy. I just might have to look into it more.

Oh you should!! It's a lot of fun. Kind of like a treasure hunt and it can be done on so many levels. We have a blast. Check your area. You may find some really close to you! I haven't done any in South Jersey when visiting my uncle yet. Maybe if we get there this summer.

I looked. There are some near me. If you do come down this summer, LMK. Maybe we could do some together. Looks like I need to get a name and a stamp.

I carved my own stamp. Let's just say it's "primitive"! We're Kaluga Crew on AtlasQuest.

What did you carve it out of?
There is this pink stuff that letterboxers call, well, the pink stuff. It's what most store bought rubber stamps are made of. You can carve it. You can also use a pink eraser and carve that. That's a little more crumbly. Let me find a link so you can see what I'm talking about. I'm tired and lousy at describing this!!

Here's a good place to start:
http://www.atlasquest.com/tutorials/carving/

Lots of info and you should find good pics in the links!

OK. I already have a design in mind, and a name. I used to be into CBing, and my handle was Little Wolf. (I love wolves.) My son gave me a pendant for Christmas w/a wolf on it. I'm thinking if I enlarged that, I could use it for a design.
