That is a beautiful house :)

I love that she got her new hubby involved in the revamp. A high tech mud hut, that's just awesome. And, it's a combo, partially wood, partially cob & partiall strawbale.

My sis is building one and I asked her if she was going to put in a truth window and she looked at me like I grew a third eye!

I had to explain.....I think she thought I wanted her to be exposing her personal home life to the neighbors.... :D

ETA: Those pics of that home were the very first pics of a strawbale/cob home I'd ever seen when I was researching them some years back.....I instantly fell in love with these kind of houses after seeing it. The thought that one could express oneself outside of just painting or decorating a wall was intriguing to me. No matter how many years and how many people would live in that home, a little piece of what you are would be built right in the wall. Beautiful!

I wonder if you put a truth window into a rammed earth house? Can you imagine seeing an exposed used tire? :p
