Hey everybody! 
Forum engagement comes in ebbs and flows. There is also a lot of seasonality aspects to all the sites we manage (www.BackYardChickens.com, www.TheEasyGarden.com, www.BackYardHerds.com, etc.).
We have a relatively strict policy when it comes to tone and demeanor on all of our sites. We expect people to be respectful to one another even when they disagree. Hopefully those that don't like respectful conversations and like to fight will find other places to hang out, and those that enjoy friendly and respectful engagement will find a welcoming home here to discuss many self sufficient topics.
If you have ideas on how to make the forum better, ways to promote activity, etc. that are aligned with our goals and mission, then please start a new thread and we'll be happy to review and discuss them!!
