And by the way, you could actually tell US how many chickens you have and we would not be shocked.
I was going to have three....then we decided to get six in case some chicks didn't make it. But they were so cheap, we thought maybe we should do 12 when we actually saw them. A week later I went back for 8 more......
When our numbers have gone down by attrition, we of COURSE had to replace our numbers. So the people who really wanted three chickens usually have about 20.
I'd like to arrange things where I could free range the birds more safely and have about three times that many at least, I'd love to have a lot more chickens and raise them for meat as well. So if you told us you have 75 chickens, I'd be JEALOUS. I love chicken!
