I agree.

the 'new way' in this country is get everything for free....from the taxpayers who truly fund this country....and our govt. just hands it out left to right to just anyone. sickens me. wish we had some law against it?? oh we do, it just is so out of hand our govt. can't control it anymore.
Amen. So many are on disability. The pedophile down the road is unemployed and gets a check for being a pedo. He cant work. BS. He should go hungry and without. Maybe it would deter others from hurting kids. Instead we give him money to sit at home comfortably and all the free time he needs to persue his "hobbies". Smart huh?

I think it is a perfectly legitimate question. Especially since if people really want to educate the children of illegals, they can take up a collection or teach them themselves. The taxpayers should NOT be the ones paying for it.
And your teachers are overwhelmed and being forced to take less and less and do more and more. I may either go back to school to work anything else. Dont know what else to do. Its costing me to work at school, my health, my sanity, everything.

We have over 200 positive kids and teachers with Tuberculosis because of a teacher who was in Africa for the last twelve years. No one is doing anything because its an expensive treatment. 100 dollars a person. :barnie

On good notes:

Daughter called and apologized and is seeking help.
Hubby is sober. Yep, sober. He is also attending meetings.
Alanon has been a great emotional outlet and educator for me.
Life is good, work is not. So I think it is time to relocate and rethink.

work is important. being able to spend the workday in relative peace is ideal. if work is awful, it drags one down. truly if work is an issue, think outside the box. that old saying of working a job you truly hate everyday makes life a chore...I so believe that. Not 'many' ever truly love their jobs lol, but being able to stand it for the day, come home and relax and not bring that job home is so important for a good life.

I am definantly feeling the pangs of teaching. I love so much of it, but just find someof it insanity.
I am hoping to make money at the flea market and maybe find a new career in crafting. Maybe. Sure would be happier if I could do what I love and enjoy. Now if I could get paid to raise chickens.....

fenced the garden. Planted the free bamboo we snagged from a friend. Cleaned out the chicken coops and runs.

i also bought four more baby chicks. Up to 13 in the spare room.
2 black copper marans
2 buff silkies
1 splash silkie
1 white silkie
1 chocolate americauna- hatchery from Ideal so we will see.
1 barevelder
1 sultan
1 salmon faverolle
1 serama
1 blue dutch
1 red quill dutch

I have a beautiful mix of birds.

Pearl our 'naw really she's an aracauna" was our flea market rescue. I think she is going threw a horrible molt. She has never recovered well since we got her, but we are hoping this molt will give her a new look. She looks like she went threw a wind tunnel backwards.

Made a ton of new soap. Got a lot of stuff caught up. So feeling reasonably good about things.
