Himalayan Pink Salt is one of the two salts we use in our house. It is wonderful...not just in taste but so healthy. This is where we get ours http://www.himalasalt.com

As far as Williams Sonoma....I don't think you can go wrong in that store! I want one of everything! LOL

Himalayan salt is quite different from salt found anywhere else. For one thing, its uniquely beautiful: it has a pinkish or light reddish tint, and under a microscope, the crystals within the salt form gorgeously perfect geometric patterns. Himalayan salt, when left raw and in its natural state, is rich in nutrients and minerals. Since many of these elements found within each grain of salt naturally occur within us and in the environment, they are easily absorbed and utilized on a cellular level. Pink Himalayan Salt re-mineralizes the body with minerals and trace elements essential to our health and well being.

I love using the pink Himalayan salt! but I am a cheap-o and buy it from World Market and I have one small grinder with only pink salt in it. It does have a different flavor compared to other salts- I like the gray sea salt too.
But don't get me started on the Sonoma store! I love going in there but their prices about floor ya! there is this big cast iron dutch oven in the shape of a big green rooster that I just love, but darned if I am gonna shell out over $400 bucks for it! :barnie
Their French rolling pins are around $40 and I got one at another local spot that has all the bells and whistles for us foodies for $6! and it was just as nice and solid oak. The only thing missing was the fancy burned in label that said Williams Sonoma! I can make that sacrifice! lol
But lately if I have to get a kitchen gadget I do pay a better price and get the stainless with the big puffy handles they do last almost forever and are easier on my poor old arthritic hands!
