in NC we buy and gun and go in the woods

with a license permit to hunt of course


am I missing something here? lol


edited to say Tony has a lifetime hunt/fish with NC. Sportsmen license which includes it all. but he never had to take a class??

Well NC now requires it for new hunters and refused to accept a transfer from another state. Probably you are grandfathered [mothered?] in if you had a valid permit before they passed the rule. You have to carry the permit but not the training record. either the old permit or the training record is required to renew or add items like a duck stamp.
