How are the gas prices in your area?

2.99 Last night. Should have bought gas yesterday but it was below 0 and I just couldn't stay outside any longer. My dh is looking at getting a small truck and trading in our gas guzzler. We both work 13-15 miles away from home in different directions so we can't even carpool. Praying this gets over soon. For many reasons.

And that's what's nice about Jersey. It's illegal to pump your own gas, so I can just sit in my truck while someone else stands out in the cold, rain, wind, snow or whatever to pump it.

We only have one station in town that pumps our gas. My daughter is going to school in Jersey but left her car here. A bit too far to drive.

What school is she going to?

$3.45 here, too. When I got gas last weekend it was $3.29.

BUT...I keep reminding myself that a year or two ago it got up to $4, then came back down to below $2, so....

It went up 10cents overnight

This is at the cheapest gas station. For the cheapest grade of gas.


Cant wait for it to stop raining.. Im walking alot this summer..

I was going through an ****old**** box of stuff recently, and found a gas reciept from about 25 years ago. 89 cents per gallon for 89 octane. $3.48 today.

I remember years ago thinking that if gas prices got over $1.00, I'd have to stop driving. Instead, I got a motorcycle when they got over $4.00. There were weeks I was putting close to $300 in my tank!

just filled up at $3.42 cause the attendant told me he was jacking the price in a minute to $3.52. So not much savings, but nice he told me lol

Yowch...10 cents per gallon as you're standing there... That really was nice of him/her to warn you!
