I ask because I have a dear friend who has both Lupus and RA....and she drinks a can every day. I keep telling her that it is not very good for her.

Today she came over with can in hand. I told her I was keeping it to research the ingredients!

Does anyone know about it's health risks?

I know diet soda has been linked to RA, MS and lupus symptoms but not sure if they make a Red Bull diet.

I don't know but the name seems to say it all......it's like drinking something called White Lightning and expecting it will be soothing and gentle to the system.

Extreme caffeine, extreme chemicals and extreme sugar....what's not to love?

All energy drinks like Red Bull are linked to stroke and heart attacks in young people. Especially if they are taking any kind of meds, including over the counter meds. I knew a young lady, who died of a massive heart attack standing in line in Wal-mart. She was 22 years old. She had just finished a Red Bull before going into the store. Plus she took her ADD meds about an hour before that. Fatal.
Lots of people do not realize that even taking an antihistamine and then drinking a red bull can create a very serious stroke or heart attack. They think its just a drink. There really should be warnings.

Still, one day someone will post a question asking how to make Red Bull for their SS pantry stash.
There are things most of us think we need and stock up on that may not be the best for us.
Those that are accustomed to Red Bull might consider it either a necessity or guilty pleasure and try to plan for it.

ETA- we don't drink fake stuff.

Anyone have a good recipe for Diet Coke?
We call it Diet Chemicals. Unfortunately my husband is addicted to the stuff, he can go through two 2 liter bottles a day if I can't steer him to something else. He tells me water doesn't quench his thirst. Right.

There are tons of excuses to eat wrong, do wrong, and be stupid.
Hey whatever floats your boat. Your own excuses in your mind are yours. LOL
I got no time for idiots who want to eat or drink super crap.
Anyone who wants to live and eat crap we know is super bad, go for it.
One less person to worry about that will pull social security.
Sorry, just me stating what I think.
