How did you get to this spot................

We never had a lot of money when I was growing up, had to make do with very little most of the time. The wife's upbringing was pretty much the same. Some things in my childhood were a constant........ the garden, the greenhouse, the orchard and my momma's love. All that, on only an acre and a half.
I can say that for the most part, the wife and I got to where we are because of where we came from and how we were raised.

Well, my Mama taught me right. So I went out and married a man that wanted to do all this stuff too, and now we are living happily ever after.

My hubby would LOVE all of the things country life has to offer and he enjoys most of the benefits of what I do. He is just very conservative and WAY too practical sometimes for his own good! He want his future and mine very secure before making any "rash" moves.

Good thing he has me to keep things shook up around here!
