FC my fave of yours is 'quit buying'
Why is the obvious so often overlooked?!
Yea it has turned into a biggie for me now Dace.

I just don't buy like I used too....and honestly, I don't need a thing.
Just not buying like my old way has saved me tons of money. And that is good cause money gets tight so fast as we all know!

What are your top ten?
Live within your means, put money away and forget about it - don't tell anybody especially relatives on how much you are saving because after they spend all their money on big houses, cars, and stainless steel appliances and maxed out all the credit cards and home equity loans they will come looking for you. And if possible never ask anybody for a favor no matter how small or how good of a person, it will cost you 1000 times more than hiring a handy man.
 Isn't that the truth!!

Weatherstrip your doors! And check your windows for drafts. Doesn't make sense to heat the entire out of doors!

If I weather proof the Doors then how does Jim Morrison keep warm?

That's easier said then done, would caulk help keep my ex from being so cold?

You're gonna HATE this one:
IF you have livestock to feed, keep your clothes in a mudroom and DON'T wash them every time you feed/clean stalls, coop, etc. (I wash mine when necessary--I have a lot of these clothes--any outside garments that have holes, etc., in them qualify.)

Also, buy sneakers/tennis shoes (Whatever YOU call them) to use to run outside for quick trips AT A THRIFT STORE. I have 4 pairs now--$3 each. They were practically brand-new. I used to recycle my older pairs, but then, I only had one. And when THAT pair wore out, I had none. On nice days off I LIVE in them for the whole day. Don't ever wear out my nice shoes or nice riding boots on everyday chores, anymore.
