My grandma used to do it that way (not sure about inner plastic though?) but it's been a long time.
I'll have to look and see if I can find the paper and hopefully can afford it. Wonder if Costco has it, or I can get it from a butcher supply or something??? I'll have to look around.

Though the price of meat lately ... I used to stock up tremendously when things were on sale, and that was good. I had a commercial freezer almost full last November. Not much has been worth buying since then, so I've mostly had to eat what I had stored. I still have a good supply though. Hehe, I think I may have actually had about 3 years' worth of meat in there, for me, when you consider it's supplemented with a rooster here or there and a good supply of rabbits.
