Hey everybody, super glad to finally be a part of the Sufficient Self!!
Acquiring 6 acres of land this year, and documenting every step I take...
Planning to raise Chickens, a Goat, MAYBE pigs, and not ever need to buy from the grocery store.

Completely inexperienced however, I will be asking a lot of questions and will need all of the help I can get!
Feeling pretty confident still, as I have almost everything I need.
Can't wait to get started!!! :D

Hi, ECO! what a fun and exciting journey you are setting for yourself. Do you have a partner to share and support your endeavors? (sometimes it is exponentially easier to do chores if you have a willing helper)

I'm from Central Kentucky, but hopefully moving to the land in Eastern Kentucky this spring!
HOPING to find my partner along this journey, not to say I don't have any ideas, but if everything goes as planned things will work out as they should. :)

Starting new thread about general gardening advice, see you there!!
