Thanks for the warm welcome. And yes wannabefree i live smack dab in the middle of cullman :D haha, way off in the boondocks
It's not too far off the beaten path. I'm not far from you as a matter of fact ;) I think it's about an hour and a half best I remember. It has been years since I have been to Cullman. I had a wreck there years ago on my way back from Savannah, Georgia  I hope you have more street signs at your intersections now! I never will forget waiting on my ride after that wreck...4 more vehicles wrecked the exact same way we did in the two hours we waited there at a gas station because there was no yield sign :ep The store owner was kind enough to let us sit around and all the people were very nice though. I just couldn't believe the city wouldn't fix that intersection!!

Actually wannabefree, my father owns a store building at an intersection just like that. Except they have a caution light up. the feild of vision there is slim to none, basically we just pray and hold on to our seats when we go through it. he protested for years for an actual traffic light to be put up, but the powers that be do not like better ideas. Dad finally closed the store business from other factors, but he has witnessed over 30-40 wrecks and 10 deaths :( some of wich were relatives. And the states newest solution was to ad a stop sign along with the caution light, as if we werent stopping for the cross traffic already :he its like talking to a brick wall sometimes.
