We've become very civilised and spoiled over the last few decades… DS school can't open if there is a problem with the water supply even.

I was spoiled at the last school I worked at- a/c schoolwide!

Schools are already closed for tomorrow. It hasn't even started snowing!

First pic is of the walkway outside the front porch. Second pic is of the small pond by the house.
From what I've heard by the time the storm ends on Wed supposed to have close to a foot of snow unless you live in higher regions or in the snow belt.

We're forecasted to get 7-10" by tonight. Coming down pretty good right now. DD's class was canceled, DH is home... Snowed in! I kind of like it!

 

[Mini Horses]

Guess I won't whine so much about the winds and cooler weather we have here this week........50 today 25 tonight and 35 tomorrow with 30 MPH winds. Frozen water tubs tonight, haul hot water tomorrow..

STILL better than a foot of snow to work thru! OR drive thru!!

I don't have to like any of it -- just sayin.

It took us twice as long as normal to do chores this morning, but at least DH was here to help. I also shoveled out the goat barn so that took a bit. My weird little goats are outside today like it's nice out, everyone says goats don't like snow but mine couldn't care less. Maybe they just know they might as well get used to it lol!

I've got what everyone needs to warm up.

A crockpot full of hot homemade beef Stew. I've already had a small bowl and it's very delicious so don't be afraid to eat.

Yum! Almost a foot of snow here and coming down hard still. Sigh.
