Thanks ya'll!! It's a huge feeling of relief! I'm so proud of us and how far we've come.
I survived the office yesterday, but my brain was totally fried by the time I left. I was really done working about 2 hours before I could leave, I'd just thought too much at that point! I managed to coordinate all 3 locations for internet installs plus IT follow up to reset the network connections once the new internet is in place. Crazy crazy. Let's just hope it flows totally smoothly now!
Not much else in any other news. Gotta make a grocery run today, fun times. I will be leaving a little earlier, but with the grocery stop it I won't get home until later anyway. So it goes.
Tomorrow I need to do some cleaning since JS will be here and there will be people in the house this weekend, and I'd like to find the halloween lights to put outside, but we'll see if I have time for all that amid everything else I have to do...

I'm SO SO SO proud of the BF for all his hard work creating better spending habits. It's really paying off for him, especially combined with the couple of helpful windfalls recently. The 6 month lump sum of the car insurance should come out of his account today. At this moment right now he has more money in his account than he's EVER had since I met him, with the exception of the tax returns at the beginning of this year. His net work report is better than it's EVER been as well. I'm SO proud of how much he's been able to change his habits in the past year. He asked me if he could get a router table for his wood working stuff, and I told him I'd have to work it out. I've prepped for some bills for next month, and the registration is due again on the black truck, if it we're for that he'd easily be able to get it. I can probably squeeze it out if I shuffle the money for the bills that I've allowed for, but we'll see. I think he said the one he wanted wasn't on sale anymore, so he might want to wait anyway. I'd prefer that just to get more of a buffer in place, but I'm also willing to make it work out if he really wants it because he's worked so hard, and he's actually asking instead of just blowing the money!
I didn't get much cleaning done yesterday, but I did have a great call with my biz coach. I think we have a plan together for me to put get a course out there to sell. I just need to stick to the plan to make it happen now! I also need to figure out how to rehire her so that I can keep working and making things happen!
I'll have to work on the cleaning when I get home today, which shouldn't be too late thankfully. I woke up early when the BF was getting ready, so I went ahead and got up, and so now I'll get to leave a little early and still have all my hours. I need to vacuum, and I have to get the guest bedroom cleaned up so that JS actually has somewhere to sleep! The office needs to be straightened up, too, so we can get the massage table put up in there for her to work on people. I need to vacuum the basement since that was never done this weekend, either. Fun times. Hopefully the weekend is smooth and easy. Friday afternoon JS and I are going to go for a salt float. It'll be her first and I can't wait to see what she thinks of it. I can't wait to do it again. Then I need to figure out how to afford another package of floats because I can really use it a lot more often!
So things are going ok, just chugging along, and trying to stay ahead of the game!

That's great about the BF! Your plans for selling a course sound good. I really hope that will work out for you and things will keep getting better! You guys are doing great at the moment.

Thanks Ya'll!!!
So the BF did spend a bit more money over the weekend. The good news is there is money in the budget to cover it. The bad news is that he just won't be able to get his router table as quickly as he would have otherwise. I was irritated, but I'm not surprised. I wasn't shopping with him, which is almost a guarantee that he'll go spend money, LOL. I know I would have talked him out of some of the stuff he bought if I was with him. So it goes. We'll deal.

The weekend was good, salt float was fantastic, it felt great. JS and I had a nice time hanging out and getting appointments done. Sunday's schedule got a little scrambled, but it did let her get one more appointment into the schedule, which was good. It just meant that my whole day was taken up instead of the half day that I originally planned.

Not much else is happening. Working too many hours, and taking care of too many horses to see straight at the moment. But money flowing in is always good. Now I need to take the time to work no my business in between all of it! It's never gonna grow if I don't get to work on it!

Well, he is going to see the natural consequences of his bad money habits-- he won't get the router table as quickly... and if he keeps doing this, he won't get it AT ALL, will he?

Mine is the same way! But, I hate shopping so I let him do it and just bite my tongue, lol!! At least he doesn't buy big ticket items without me...

@Britesea he prefers the ostrich method, LOL and mostly just ignores the bad things, until he looks, and then is crushed, and it's a big vicious cycle. He's way way way better than he used to be, but he still has the times where he swings back and forth like this. A lot of it is directly associated with his mood, so he spends more when he's depressed. He's getting more and more aware of it, so a $150 spend is SMALL compared to what it used to be, and it won't really throw us out of whack. LOL, yeah, FEM I can totally relate!

He did say he got a 25% off coupon in his email for Advanced Autoparts, which is RARE, and we need the steering pump for the pickup truck because we have to put power steering fluid in it every time we drive it, which is not good for the environment and the fact that we have to buy a new bottle every time we drive the thing. I told him we'd be able to shuffle some funds around to do that right now since the coupon is one of those that expires fast. This is totally fine to do and normal. I wish he hadn't spent the other money, but it still won't hurt us. He gets paid the end of next week, and he's going to have a fat pay check from all the over time he's been putting in, so that will help a lot. I'll be able to easily rebalance the categories when he gets paid. So all in all, it's good. And these bumps are getting smaller and smaller. We did talk last night about how much we should put away out of each pay check to make sure that the car insurance is covered again in full in 6 months, so he agreed to that. We're going to put away $175 out of each check, which will give us roughly $350 each month. Hopefully it is more than we need, but it is slightly lower than the previous amount, which should be fine since the oldest accident will be dropping off of the insurance by then. Hopefully it will be more than enough and we'll have a surplus in that category that we can choose what to do with. The tax returns will also be done by that time, so who knows what will come out of that.

I had a great time yesterday hanging out with my friend, we ate lunch, and talked a lot and had a great time. My week is busy, but I was glad to do that for a little while with her. And the BF got off at a really good time instead of way late yesterday, so he was home by the time I got home. So that was fun. We had a nice relaxing evening.

KN gets here tomorrow, and I start taking care of HR's ponies tomorrow evening, too, so it's gonna be a busy weekend. I think the BF might work Saturday morning, which is just extra $$$ so that's a good thing. I'll be busy with my lesson anyway. At some point I need to actually do some grocery shopping. I've been avoiding it a little bit because my funds are really low and I won't get paid until the end of the month, but it will just have to happen anyway because he doesn't have lunch food and we could use a few other things. I want to make chicken soup with some leftover chicken that I have, and so I need to get veggies for that because everything I have in the fridge is bad. We've been doing pretty good eating at home, so that has been a good thing. Next week I think we'll eat out one day and go vote early to get that over with so we don't have to worry about getting caught in crowds on that Tuesday.

It should be a good week, though busy, but what else is new right now??
